Irmas in Deming

Deming, NM has very good and authentic Mexican food out of which Irma's is one of the best! The Enchiladas seemed differend in a good way.. Waiters check upon you with warmth and eagerness to serve, which is a good way of holding this place with good reviews.

This has always been my favorite restaurant in Deming! Food is always the best and good prices! The staff and the cooks are very friendly and they provide awesome customer service! I would recommend this restaurant to anyone traveling through or to my former hometown family and friends!

The food was outstanding. Service above average. The only downside was the acoustics, but we will definitely go back.

Their salsa is awesome. Their chips are awesome. Their sopipillas (sp?) are thick, and doughy and awesome. I really like this place but you have to eat it fresh. When it sits, it turns a little icky. But I think that's all food, really.

Everything at this restaurant is outstanding. We really enjoyed eating there for the first time. We will stop there each time we come through dummy New Mexico every time. Irma's is warm the best Mexican restaurants that we've ever attended.

Best steak fajitas I’ve ever enjoyed. We ate half our lunch and took the rest home. Great service, hot food; wish we had them in Los Lunas!

I have been going to Irma's for years. Every time I come to Deming, I make a point to stop here. Their green chile is great, the food is consistently good, and their prices are reasonable. Portions are good but not over the top. Service is fine generally. You cannot go too wrong choosing Irma's!

Omg! What a delicious breakfast! I truly enjoyed my breakfast at Irma's Restaurant! The food was really yummy and the service was quick. We were in and out quickly but satisfied. Highly recommend Irma's Restaurant in New Mexico!

Spicy but oh so good! The salsa was delicious (although a little hot)and the carne asada tacos were very tasty. I'll definitely go again.

It's been a year since I last ate here. It's not quite as good as I remember. Don't get me wrong, it is good, but not quite there as I remember. The servers are young and not very experienced. They are well meaning and try but the lack of experience shows.

Food is good. Acoustics are bad. We eat there at off times to avoid the loud crowds. My husband thinks they make the best rellenos in town.

Pretty good Mexican food. You get a TON for the price be prepared for a box or leftovers. Their food is quite spicy so order accordantly.

Great place for Mexican food. We were traveling through the area and asked a local where was a good place to eat . They recommended Irmas Restaurant and they were right. The portions were filling and the flavor was outstanding. The service was friendly and quick. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for great mexican food.

Amazing prices, good fresh food.

The food was very good, the waitresses were flying around, but due to how busy it was, the service wasnt great. The place was packed and everyone seemed happy, but getting a waitress to stop or a refill or an additional order, was kinda rough. I had the #1 Deluxe Mexican Plate and everything was very good, very hot and delicious. Being new to the area, this place will be on my return again, soon and often list!!! OK, updated review. It is quite often busy here and for good reason! The food is spectacular, especially the green chili chicken enchiladas with an over medium egg on top and the absolute best Bud light Red Beer I've ever had. This is the best Mexican restaurant in Deming. I think I actually had withdrawals while they were closed for lockdown, fortunately they opened up for a few weeks , so i could get my fix a few times, before they closed temporarily again. You won't go wrong here, but be fore warned, the green sauce is quite spicy and makes me sweat everytime.

Fantastic, authentic Mexican food in relaxed, cafe style surroundings. You might never think to visit this place, tucked away in a row of anonymous shop fronts, but it was genuinely worth the drive over from Las Cruces (was on a road trip, next stop Truth or Consequences). Don’t go expecting fancy presentation (unless you order the shared dishes that come served on a big fish-shaped platter) - go for the delicious tasting food.

Average sit down Mexican restaurant. Seemed to charge for all extras. One basket of chips and one bowl of salsa per table; doesn't matter if you have one person or six. Refills; extra. I can see sour cream and guacamole extra. Roasted Chiles were really good.

The burritos were very tasty, but the ground beef tacos were disappointing, with little flavor.

Service was good considering it was busy so the good took a while to come out as well. The salsa was nice and spicy. My grandson had the soup and said it was great along with the chicken fingers and fries. My husband and I had the 2 burritos one chicken which green but it had bones in it☹ then the carne asada with red was very dry unfortunately. Can't say I'd go back mainly cause of our meal.

My first time there. Was very fortunate to be with a fellow customer who knew Irma's history: created by the mother and turned over to her daughters. Excellent Mexican family board 'o fare !

Small little restaurant, can fill up quickly and not much room for waiting. The beef fajitas meant to be shared, extremely tasty with all the great fixings. I would recommend asking for extra tortillas if you order this!

Ordered 3 chicken soft tacos, they were really tough to eat. My cheese enchilada (red) was very salty. My husbands carne asada burro (red) also salty. Green was fine. My grandma really enjoyed the rolled tacos. I wasn't a fan of the rice or beans. Hubby said they were ok.

The food was delicious! Best chili rellano and guacamole! The staff was professional, kind, and accommodating to our half dozen requests. I really like how they advertise local businesses on their tables. Glad we stopped in.

Crazy large portions but not lacking in quality. Best sopapillas and only 50 cents! We'll be back.

I ordered carne asada gorditas and I was surprised by how light and fluffy the gorditas were. I am used to a bigger, firmer gordita that mom made at home. Either way, they had a good taste and the carne asada was very flavorful. Ask for the green salsa. It's excellent!

This is the best restaurant I've tried in Deming! They have authentic Mexican dishes, friendly staff, and inexpensive prices. I ordered the green enchiladas, and they were delicious!

We love Irma's and try to stop whenever we are drivng through NM. The huevos rancheros are excellent as well as the enchiladas and other lunch selections. Their green salsa is delicious!

Fast service, fresh food, taste great.

We were there too early for lunch so we both had breakfast burritos which were good, but nothing exciting. Hard for any restaurant to stand out with just three ingredients, though, so would love to go back for a lunch.

Irma’s was the place we ended up at on our way to TX. Great Mexican food. We got the ground beef burrito plate(which comes with 2 by the way) and the chicken verde enchiladas plate. The hot sauce was screaming!! We had a great lunch and came out full. The place was also pretty packed around 2pm.

Food tasted great but it could have been a little warmer/hotter. The server was excellent!

Food is full of flavor. Green chili was so hot it was almost not edible. I had to take several breaks in between bites, but great flavor (I eat hot chili regularly).
